Personal Stylist (“the app”) is built by Daily App Studio (Hamza Boudouar). We take your privacy seriously and collect as little as possible. This policy explains what the app stores, how it's used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- No sign-up required. The app works immediately with an anonymous profile created automatically on your device — no name, email, or password needed.
- Sign in with Apple (optional). You can optionally save your account with Sign in with Apple so your wardrobe and subscription can be restored on a new device. If you do, we store the identifier Apple provides and the email associated with it (which may be Apple's private relay address). It is used only to recognize your account — never for marketing.
- Wardrobe photos & details. Photos you add and any tags (category, color, notes) are stored so we can display your closet and generate outfits.
- Chat messages. Messages you send to the AI stylist are processed to generate styling responses.
- Device identifier. A non-personal device identifier is used to secure your anonymous profile and limit abuse.
- Subscription status. If you purchase a subscription, Apple processes the payment; we receive only a receipt confirming whether your subscription is active. We never see your payment details.
- Notifications (optional). If you enable daily styling tips, we store your device's push token and time zone so tips arrive at your chosen time and quiet hours are respected.
- Crash & performance diagnostics. Anonymous crash reports and performance data help us find and fix bugs. They are not linked to your identity.
How your information is used
- To store and display your personal wardrobe.
- To generate outfit suggestions and styling advice from the items you own.
- To provide a personalized daily styling tip.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the app.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Third-party services
To make the app work, limited data is shared with trusted service providers:
- OpenAI — chat messages, wardrobe details, and the photos you add (never your identity) are sent to analyze your items and generate AI styling responses.
- Cloud hosting & image storage — wardrobe photos and app data are stored with our hosting and storage providers to run the service.
- Apple — handles all subscription purchases, billing, and (if you use it) Sign in with Apple.
- Sentry — receives anonymous crash and performance reports so we can fix issues quickly.
Data retention & deletion
Your wardrobe and chat history are kept while you use the app so your closet is there when you return. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete Account), which permanently removes your profile, photos, and history from our systems and revokes the Sign in with Apple connection if you had one. You may also email us to request deletion.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
